Gonorrhea
Question: It has been a five-day course of antibiotics for gonorrhea by a doctor, but a week after the course of antibiotics (1 tablet 2 times a day, 5 days), the allocation remains. This is an indication that I have not been cured or the symptoms will pass within a certain time? The doctor says to wait a month. But why wait? It can go into chronic. Explain please.
Answer: First, it is unclear how you were treated by medication, and secondly, you have been, or in the process of treatment, or shortly after to retake the smears for the presence of gonococci, and thirdly, even if gonorrhea now you do not, there is reason to suppose postgonoreyny urethritis, about which you should receive treatment.
